Our History

DigiCopy was founded by President & CEO Craig Shuler in 2000 with the opening of facilities in Eau Claire and Stevens Point, Wisconsin. The company quickly laid a foundation for growth and development as it added a third location in Wausau just a year later.

Craig's vision for DigiCOPY stemmed from his experience in the print industry and his desire to create a company that truly valued relationships in the workplace, the marketplace and the community. DigiCOPY rivals other digital printers in its desire to cherish those relationships inside and outside its walls. The company's continued success and growth can be attributed to the people and communities it has become a part of.

In January 2024, DigiCOPY proudly announced its transition to a 100% employee-owned company through the sale to the DigiCOPY Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP). With an ESOP ownership structure, the company distributes stock ownership at no cost to employees. As the company’s value – its stock – grows over time, employee accounts grow in value.

In October 2024, DigiCOPY acquired The Print Shop in Black River Falls, Wisconsin.  The Print Shop's expertise in sheetfeed offset printing was a perfect blend with DigiCOPY's robust digital printing network, allowing the combined company to offer its customers the widest array of services of any printer in the Midwest.  Through the acquistion, The Print Shop became 100% employee-owned as well, ensuring that their dedicated co-workers would also share in its future success.

Today, DigiCOPY has grown to over 100 co-workers in 8 locations across Wisconsin. The company's reputation for fast, friendly service continues to spread throughout surrounding communities and among business professionals.
